LEI is pleased to announce that our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status has been approved by the IRS. All donations made to LEI are now tax deductible--including donations made prior to our receiving tax-exempt status (they can be retroactively claimed on your next tax return). Construction has begun on the planned new school building in Longonot! It will have two classrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and new latrines. Check back soon for pictures and construction updates.
