LEI Updates

11/07/2012

Ben Hardwick has been back in Kenya since the beginning of August and continues to work with and improve both the Longonot Education Center and Faraja Children's Home. For updates on the progress of these projects please visit our blog here.

We have recently recruited a new member to our team, Portia Duke. She has been a very dedicated volunteer at Faraja over the past two years and has successfully fundraised for multiple projects to improve the lives of the children and their home. As a member of our team she will continue to fundraise and work towards the growth and development of Faraja Children's Home. For more information about our team, visit our About Us page here.

LEI is pleased to announce that our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status has been approved by the IRS.  All donations made to LEI are now tax deductible--including donations made prior to our receiving tax-exempt status (they can be retroactively claimed on your next tax return).
