Construction Day 3!

More and more stones are being shaped. There is a huge pile of already shaped stones out of the picture. The foundation is nearly done, meaning the actual wall will likely start coming up tomorrow!

That seems pretty tedious in having to shape the foundation bricks. But at least the workers have a job, too, from the donations and the building of the wall. I noticed that the workers don't have shoes but I'm not really sure what to say about that.

Are shoes hard to come by? Do the children have shoes or does everyone walk around barefoot?

My mother's from the Philippines and I think some villagers in certain parts walk around barefoot and so I was just wondering if this was normal where the orphanage is?

You could have let us hit the $100K goal and do a happy dance before bumping it to $200K.
