Widespread news coverage!

The Associated Press has written a story about LEI's fundraising windfall for the Faraja Children's Home orphanage via Reddit, Twitter, and blogs.  Read the story at ABC, CBS, The Washington Post, and many other news outlets!

Check out new pictures of Faraja in the Photo Gallery!

Redditor who donated here. Even though the wall ended up costing way more then estimated, (the cost you mentioned seemed pretty reasonable) it's exciting to know that our donations not only got to help an amazing cause, but also managed to stimulate a local economy. You're all doing great work.

Donated and I have no doubt that the wall will be worth every penny. Just curious if they were able to purchase the land before they put the wall up. I would hate for them to lose that 10,000 dollars if they are forced to leave.

I like the part, where the author is excited, that even people from Estonia and Slovenia have made donations. As if there are no English-speaking people let alone English-speaking people with access to the internet in Estonia and Slovenia (in fact every citizen in Estonia has free Wi-Fi-access to the internet).

Apart from that I like the coverage and I hope, that websites like reddit will draw more attention to help who are in need of our help.
